Data Science Assignment Help
Data science assignments test both your analysis and how well you explain it. We help you understand each step of the workflow and write up your method and results in your own words.
We coach you through your own work with explanations, planning, feedback and examples. We don't write assignments for you to submit.
What we help with
- Python and RUnderstand what your code is doing and how to explain it.
- Data cleaningHandle missing values, duplicates and odd entries sensibly.
- Exploring dataChoose charts and summary statistics that show the story.
- Machine learning basicsPick a model, split your data and measure results.
- StatisticsExplain tests, confidence and what the numbers mean.
- Project reportsWrite up your question, method, results and limitations.
The data science workflow
- Define the question you want to answer.
- Collect or load the data and check what it contains.
- Clean it: missing values, duplicates, wrong types.
- Explore it with summaries and charts.
- Build a model or run a test that fits the question.
- Evaluate the results honestly and explain what they mean.
Choosing how to measure a model
Accuracy alone can mislead. If only 5% of cases are positive, a model that always says negative is 95% accurate and useless. Precision and recall show how well you find the cases that matter, and for numeric predictions, measures such as RMSE show the size of the errors.
State which measure you chose and why it fits the problem.
Writing up your results
- Question: what you set out to find.
- Data: where it came from and how you cleaned it.
- Method: what you did and why you chose it.
- Results: tables and charts with a short explanation each.
- Limitations: what the data or model cannot tell you.
- Conclusion: the answer to your question in plain language.
Common technical traps
- Data leakage: information from the test set sneaking into training.
- No train and test split, so results look better than they are.
- Overfitting: a model that memorises instead of learning.
- Charts with truncated axes or no labels.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Showing code and output with no explanation.
- Skipping data cleaning or not saying how it was done.
- Judging a model on one measure only.
- Not mentioning the limits of the data.
- Drawing conclusions the results do not support.
Common questions
Do you build my model or write my code?
No. We help you understand each step, explain concepts and give feedback on your own work. You build the model and write your report yourself.
Should I use Python or R?
Use whichever your module requires. The workflow and the way you explain your results are the same.
Can you help me understand why my model performs badly?
Yes. We can talk through common causes, like data quality, leakage or overfitting, so you can investigate and fix it.
Can you help with the written report?
Yes. We can help you plan the structure and give feedback on your draft.
Tell us what you are working on and when it is due. We usually reply within 30 minutes.
